PURPOSE

Have you ever thought of what your purpose in life  is? Do you know why you are still alive today? Have you thought for a moment what your daily routine should help you achieve in three years to come? Are you intentionally living to an expected end? These are the many questions that flood my mind every now and then. If I am still alive today, then it must be for good reason. But what if i am just living casually without purpose, without vision, what happens then to such an aimless life? Ephesians 2:10 says we were created for purpose in Christ Jesus. Our first quest in life is to find the purpose for which we were created in order to live a fulfilled life. Jesus Christ knew his purpose. Paul knew his purpose and so did other great men and women.
The next question that needs to be answered is how does one find their purpose? In an attempt to answer this very complex and yet simple question I sought the counsel of a few trusted friends who I believe without a doubt are living a purposeful life. But most importantly , what I have come to realize is that to live a purposeful life, one must be principled, disciplined and focused. These are very critical pointers that will help you to access a clearer and more defined purpose in life. The complexity of knowing you purpose is that everyone's purpose varies. Even with having similar purposes, each individual will have a unique way of how to fulfill it. More so, some individuals at different points in time may have more than one purpose in life.
Finding your purpose does not have a straight road-map. No one can give you a universal equation to it.

In this series of Finding your purpose we will explore how to identify our purpose , how to stay on track and how to live to God’s glory.
